Some girls are
indeed beautiful
others are not
some merely pretty
others just sweet
That lies in the
beholder
is a lie
for the beholder
does not exists
So who decides
the truth
Not the beholder
says I
but ourselves
More random rambling later on. TTFN.

Finally got that Demon the Fallen campaign up and running...and boy, was it a hilarious start! Especially the scene where a woman grabbed a man and dragged him into the ladies' room while at the same time in the same place, another man with with bloody tears grabbed another woman and dragged her into the place's storeroom. All of this happened in front of a young man who happened to be there buying ice-cream for a little pre-school girl whom he was baby-sitting. So many things can go wrong from there...

Each step towards equality
speaks of certain
impendible doom
One walks forward but
never steps back and
sees the pit that lies
on the road ahead
and falls
falls headlong into
a dark pit
Nothing awaits
only death from
above
Doom...

There's a cheat code in that game that goes: 'It's a good day to die'...and that's what I feel like at the moment.

I know I've mentioned it before but the problem with growing older is the fact that you get to say things like 'ten years ago' or 'fifteen years ago' or worse still...'twenty years ago'. It's like yesterday when I went to Taylors to meet up with a friend and I saw that they modernised the area (it used to be just some hawker stalls...now there's a food court and a flea market...). To think that the last time I went there was just four years ago...not as bad as five or ten or fifteen years ago but still...
On the plus side, the good thing about this whole aging thing is that I'm one day closer to the six-feet deep plot in the ground. That's always a good thing, right?

Today marked the first time that Liverpool beat Manchester United in an FA cup match. While I couldn't care less about who wins this match (Wolverhampton should have played this match!), 85 years is still quite a long time to go without a win. That's like 2 generations plus change (each generation lasting about 40 years). So...what to do in that 85 years of being perpetual losers?
1) Plot the eventual demise of your opponent.
2) Create a few mythologies about your previous defeats
3) Say that the ones who played before you were the biggest losers in the world
4) Sit down in a corner and mutter dark nonsense to yourself
5) Gloat over the fact that you won another competition more than your opponents
Any more bright ideas? TTFN.

Note to self: do not listen to Gary whenever he says gambling is fun. Sure, it's fun...as long as you keep on winning. Lucky for me, it was game money that I lost and not real money...
Second note to self: must sleep before three tonight. I'm getting that splitting headache that people get from not getting enough sleep. Next time...don't watch Idol three times in one day, kay?

Got the toys that I posted up on the blog yesterday ^_^ Now Reza owes me about 85 ringgit (or was it more?) and I get to play with Vader and Grievous (correction...my brother gets to relive his robot fantasies).
Oh...on a slightly sadder note, didn't make it to the next round of the HSBC competition. Oh well...maybe some other time then ^_^

This is interesting...someone actually thought that I have a date tonight. Wow...whatever gave her that idea? I don't know whether I should be flattered or what...hehe...
Anyways...nothing special will happen tonight. Just felt bored stiff and wanted to write this down so that everyone knows that I'm bored stiff. Hahaha...I feel petty right now although I will not go out and state that Valentine's Day is just a cheap day in order to help florists sell flowers and that everyone should be loving and caring to each other on ever other day. Nah...V-day has its own special place in our affection-crazed society so I refuse to condone it at all. So to all you lots enjoying a romantic candle-light dinner (and maybe something else extra later at night *hehehe* ^_^), Happy Valentine's Day.

Okay...so I didn't get sick or locked up in my room this year (For those of you who can remember that incident...I need not say anymore)...good and bad I guess since it means I can actually lead a semi-normal life today.
So anyways, everyone pretty much talking about V-day and I get to listen to it all. Nothing special...just where they're going to have dinner, with whom and what they're going to give. As for me...if you can't figure it out by reading this...I don't know what to say.
So...I'll just sit where I am until tonight then...where I'll start on writing out a whole history of V-day. Why? Because I've got nothing to else to do that's what...unless you want to count doing assignments...which I suppose I should get started on. *sigh* So shoot me already.

I hate dogs. It's pretty much a fact of life. I mean...who wouldn't? Especially after being chased by this crazy bitch for no particular reason into a ditch and being attacked by her. That'll do wonders for a person's general perception of dogs, which was not already good to begin with in the first place (i.e. dogs are dumb and blindly loyal) but that's besides the point.
Today, the first thing I did when I woke up was to go to the vet. Apparently, the alpha dog of my house, a grizzled veteran of many dogfights, conquerer of one bitch (the rest were dogs but I don't quite count them in his list of sexual exploits), sire of many puppies (due to that one bitch that he conquered), grand sire of quite a few puppies (his pups took on their old man's libido) and emulator of Spider-man (don't ask. Just don't ask) has a hole in his face in which maggots decide to take residence as well as create the ultimate buffet line (my house is my food!). No one knows how he got the wound in the first place and quite frankly, the moment you see fly larvae on any living creature's face, you'd start jumping up and down as well.
So, me, my dad and my brother took Prince over to a vet in SS1 where we watched the operation take place. I took the wise decision of watching the whole procedure from behind the dog...meaning I don't have to look in the dog's face and look into the hole and look at the wriggling little bastards in his face. Watching them wriggle on the operation table is bad enough, if I do say so myself. No pictures of course. What do you think I am? A sick bastard who likes to look at disgusting scenes in real life and then make images of said disgusting scenes for the amusement of the general public? You wish. That's what journalists are for, thank you very much.
Anyways, the operation was taken care of quite quickly but Prince will have to visit the vet again since the hole hasn't been covered up yet. Hehe...we won't let that bastard go away that easily...he's still got a few things to show to the two usurpers in the house...

We all wonder how much time we have left on this world. Otherwise we wouldn't have things like fortune tellers, planning workshops and schedules to help us manage our time or predict what would happen to us in years to come. Of course, at the same time, we worry about leaving a lasting legacy for the world to remember us by or at the very least, we worry about who we fuck in order to have a good genetic legacy that will help the world remember us. Our own version of immortality without the cons that plague immortality and the pros that comes with it.
So, this makes time a very precious commodity in our existence, which is quite odd considering the fact that what we think of as time is really just the movement of the earth on its own axis and around the sun. So, does this make time relevant or irrelevant? If the world were to stop moving, would time come to a standstill?
Irritating questions that bug me when I'm sleeping at night. At least it's not the meaning of life (which by the way, has no meaning, which I've established a long time ago).
TTFN while I do some more pointless pondering...

By the time this post is up, everyone has either watched Awards or have already checked it out on the net or (in the case of some Malaysians, are still watching the delayed broadcast ^_^) so here goes:
Haha...Mariah didn't get the big ones! Too bad she just can't fizzle out like she did a couple of years back though...
It took Clarkson a long time to reach this stage (four plus years) (long if you ask me) but big grats to her for scoring the big double.
To McCartney, she was right. You don't need an introduction ^_^
To the rest of them, I'm going to bed right now.

Oh thank God...Thaipusam is on a Saturday, not Sunday or any other weekday. Too many holidays, too long...need to find a way to cancel the mid-term break or else insanity will reign. Maybe a few petitions here and there ought to do the trick, no?

No really. One of those questions that I ask myself every now and then in order to figure out exactly what is my bloody purpose here in this world. And what I pretty much get is that I am who I am. And as to why I'm here in this world, it's because my parents had sex one fine day during January 1982 and they ended up with me. Heh...maybe there really is no purpose for me being in this world after all...other than to spout nonsense through my fingertips and onto this silly little post.
Not that I'm being deep or anything (far from it...I make shallow seem deep from the end that I'm in) but just thinking about it that's all...

After a false start, finally we come to the actual start of the semester. *sigh*...might be good, might not be good. Who knows? I should say 'Who cares?' but that's kinda like a cliche for me already so I won't say it this time. On the other hand, it'll be nice to be actually doing something concrete after a long time of doing nothing. So hopefully, this final semester will be a nice one and everyone will tolerate each other (barely ^_^) this time around.
Here's to the second start of the semester. May it be better than the first one.

...that I wanted to write about but for the life of me, I can't quite recall what it is...oh yeah...now I remember. Heh...silly me ^_^
Okay...remember last year when a couple of us saw the trailer for this movie called Night Watch? With the cool special effects and sommersaulting van that leapt over a man who was his hand up a la Neo when the One stood up against the sentinels one on a million in the second Matrix movie? Guess what? It's not a horror movie! I thought it was but it ain't! It's more like a dark fantasy world like Van Helsing and the Underworld series (God...why? Why did they make a sequel out of a movie which requires a werewolf to turn into a vamp-wolf hybrid just to kick a vamp's butt? Granted it was a vamp elder but who cares? Call in an alpha wolf and you got the problem settled ^_^).
So what was it about? God knows. It was a Russian movie and the subtitles on the DVD came out something like half an hour about the words have been spoken. Hell...the only thing I understood was 'Nyet'. It might have been an interesting movie or it might not. I don't know 'cause the only thing I know about Russian is no! Sheesh...
Oh well...maybe I'll have to go and look for a better subtitle set for that movie next time. Or maybe not. Who knows? Who cares?

Again...the holidays are drawing to an end. Yay...maybe this time I can go forth and get use to the whole study life again without any interruptions. That's the main problem with holidays, especially if a lot of them come in succession like it has been the past three months. Yeesh...it's getting too much.
Of course, this whole four-day weekend thingie isn't going to help either, but at least there'll be something to do besides playing the PS and PC.

All those who've read H.P. Lovecraft would have fallen in love with Cthulhu. Let's face it; there's something strangely loveable about an insane demon/demi-god who has an octopus head with as many tentacles as he wants. Hell...he even has his own plush toy! Have a look-see down here:
Cthulhu plushie!Anyways...so what does a character from the Lovecraft series have to do with dead horses? Easy. What do you get when you cross Harry Potter and Cthulhu? You get Barry Trotter and the Dead Horse: the prequel to the series that nobody wants to read! Guest starring Cthulhu as himself! Hehehe...man, that really cracked me up when I read the bits with Cthulhu in it. Pity most of the people who read this blog won't get that joke though...*sigh*
